Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point
Meat safety is a major issue in the food industry. United Commodity Group, Inc. has instituted a Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) requirement for all of our meat and poultry manufacturers.
As part of our HACCP requirement, the manufacturer must attain the following:
- A strict sanitation policy
- A quality assurance program
- A pathogen reduction policy
- A rodent policy
- No recalls in the last 36 months
