I was born in Cleveland, Ohio. When I was 8 years old, my family moved to the Detroit area. I attended FSU in Steubenville, Ohio where I studied Communications and Philosophy with a minor in Music Theory and Composition.
I joined United Commodity Group in June 2007. Before working in the foodservice industry I was a store manager for a top 100 furniture chain. Running a retail store taught me valuable lessons about taking care of customers and communicating clearly. Building relationships and making people happy is the best part of my job.
My favorite aspects of United Commodity Group are definitely the people and the atmosphere. There’s an almost tangible feeling when you walk into an office full of people who enjoy what they do. We have a lot of fun around here. I feel fortunate to work with great people in a job I enjoy.
Outside the office my number one activity is spending time with my wife and 3 children. I like reading, camping, cooking, good beer and performing live music. I play with several groups around Metro Detroit and there is always a musical instrument within reach in my house.
