I joined the United Commodity Group team in December of 2009 and I have enjoyed working here every day since then. It feels great to work in an industry where people are so passionate about what they do!
I graduated from Central Michigan University in 2002 with a degree in Public Relations and started working in sales and marketing for the Automotive and Staffing industries shortly after. After a few years, I wanted to find a career that surrounded the things I love while also putting my technical skills to use. When I was offered a position with UCG, I knew that I had found that and I’m so delighted to be a part of this company.
I now manage accounts in the states of Ohio, Virginia, and California. I pride myself on providing the best service possible to my customers by listening to their needs and taking action.
What I love most about working in school foodservice are the people! From the Food Service Directors that I have the pleasure of working with down to the students who enjoy our products, everyone involved is excited about school food and to me, that’s the best!
Outside of UCG, you can usually find me working on a gardening or home improvement project at my home, on the golf course or in the kitchen. I love to cook and try new recipes whenever I can. What I love most is spending time with friends and family, especially my husband James.
